How alternatives differ from HP M775z
Ricoh A3 Color Laser Multifunction Copier
The Ricoh Aficio MP C4504 offers duplex scanning and a dedicated fax function, which the HP M775z does not list in its attributes. It supports wireless connectivity for easier network integration, whereas the HP model focuses on wired stability. The Ricoh delivers fast A3 color workflows, making it suitable for teams that prioritize speed and multifunction versatility over the HP’s specific wide-format laser capabilities. You should consider this alternative if you need automated document handling features like duplex scanning and faxing that are absent from the HP CC524A.
Brother INKvestment Tank Color All-in-One Printer
The Brother T780DW is an inkjet printer, not a laser device, so it uses liquid ink instead of toner cartridges. It includes ink out of the box, providing a lower-cost entry into color printing compared to the HP’s laser technology. While it supports wireless scanning and duplex printing, it lacks the high-volume speed and durability of the HP M775z. This model fits small offices that prioritize color quality and low upfront costs over the faster output and heavy-duty performance of a laser multifunction printer. It is a practical choice for lower print volumes.
HP Color LaserJet Enterprise Wide Format Printer
The HP M750dn is a dedicated wide-format color laser printer without multifunction capabilities. It lacks scanning and copying functions, focusing solely on printing A3 documents. The build is significantly heavier at 425 pounds, indicating a robust construction for high-volume environments. This model suits offices that need wide-format color laser output but already have separate devices for scanning and copying. It provides specialized printing performance without the added complexity of multifunction features found in the HP M775z.
HP Color LaserJet Enterprise Wide Format Printer
The Brother MFC-L3710CW is a compact color all-in-one printer designed for low-to-medium volume tasks. It is much smaller than the HP M775z, with dimensions of 7.36 by 6.42 inches. It supports Amazon Dash Replenishment for automated toner ordering and wireless scanning. However, it does not handle wide-format A3 paper, limiting it to standard sizes. This alternative is ideal for users who prioritize automated supply management and cloud integration over the large-format printing capabilities of the HP CC524A.
KYOCERA ECOSYS Color A3 Multifunction Laser Printer
The Kyocera ECOSYS M8124cidn offers A3 color printing with fax and duplex scanning functions. It provides a print resolution of up to 600 dpi, which may suit teams needing detailed output. Like the HP, it supports scanning and copying, but it includes fax capabilities which the HP data does not explicitly confirm. The Kyocera model is designed for moderate volume workflows with solid speed. You should consider this alternative if you require A3 color output with integrated faxing and duplex scanning in a single unit.
HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M750n
The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M750n is a dedicated printer without multifunction features like scanning or copying. It is designed for wired environments, prioritizing stability and security over wireless convenience. The unit weighs 90 pounds, indicating a sturdy build for color printing. It lacks the A3 wide-format capability of the M775z, focusing instead on standard color output. This model fits teams that need immediate color printing without network setup and already have separate devices for document management tasks.
